First in our series of New Ship Reviews for 2012 is Disney Cruise Line's Disney Fantasy.
Disney Cruise Line will introduce the new 4,000 passenger Disney Fantasy in February 2012. The Disney Fantasy is the fourth cruise liner in the expanding Disney Cruise Line fleet. The Disney Fantasy will be 14 decks high; weigh in at 130,000 tons; measure 1,115 feet long and 125 feet wide. She will have 1,250 cabins and a crew of over 1,450. The Disney Fantasy is currently being built at Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.
Delivery is expected in late February with revenue cruises beginning on March 31 from Port Canaveral.
