In today's installment - we are featuring Chandris Cruise's Amerikanis.

Chandris Cruises - Amerikanis.  

Built initially as Union Castle Line's Kenya Castle (1952) - later becoming Chandris Cruise's Amerikanis after a major rebuilding (1967). She sailed for Chandris until 1997 and was scrapped in 2001 in Alang, India. Popular itineraries for the ship included New York to Bermuda cruises, Caribbean Cruises from San Juan and finally cruising throughout the Med and Northern Europe.
