Word out of Monfalcone Italy is that MSC Cruises MSC Seaview will remain at Fincantieri Shipyard one week longer than expected to put the finishing touches on the new ship.
The delay does not interfere with MSC Cruises plans on June 9th to showcase the ship in Genoa prior to her sailing the next day.
Ths MSC Seaview's first cruise will be calling at Genoa, Naples, Messina, Valletta, Barcelona and Marseille. Following her Summer Mediterranean season the MSC Seaside will head to SOuth America. For the winter of 2018/2019, she will sail from Brazil to Santos, Ilha Grande, Buzios, Porto Belo and Camboriu.
The 154,000 ton MSC Seaview is the second vessel of the class. The first being the MSC Seaside which is currently sailing from Miami year-round. Just as a side note, the MSC Seaside and Seaview were delivered from Italy's Fincantieri Shipyard less than 6 months apart.
